Disclaimer
Effective: 19 October 2026
Please read this before relying on anything in MyoStats. It forms part of our Terms of Service. MyoStats is operated by Kieser Group, trading as MyoStats.
1. Not medical advice
MyoStats is a tracking and information tool. We are not doctors, pharmacists or dietitians, and nothing in the Service is medical, pharmaceutical or dietary advice, diagnosis or treatment. Using MyoStats does not create a doctor–patient or any other professional relationship.
Always talk to a qualified healthcare professional before starting, changing or stopping any substance, medication, training programme or diet, and about any blood test result.
In an emergency, call 10177 (ambulance) or 112 from a mobile phone, or go to your nearest emergency unit. Don't wait to check the app.
2. Substances
MyoStats lets you record substances you use, including anabolic steroids, peptides and other performance-enhancing drugs. We provide this so people who already use them can keep accurate records, understand their numbers, and get regular blood work. This is a harm-reduction approach.
- We do not encourage, recommend or endorse the use of any substance.
- Many of these substances are scheduled under South Africa's Medicines and Related Substances Act, 1965, or controlled by the laws of other countries. Using or possessing them without a prescription may be illegal where you are. You are responsible for knowing and following the law.
- These substances carry serious risks. These include heart disease, liver damage, hormonal and fertility problems, blood clotting, mental health effects, and death. Products from unregulated sources may be counterfeit, contaminated or mislabelled.
- Compound information in MyoStats (half-lives, typical uses, side effects and what to monitor) is general reference material. It may be incomplete or out of date, and it is not a recommendation to use anything.
3. Estimates are estimates
Many numbers in MyoStats are modelled, not measured. They come from simplified formulas and population averages, and they can be wrong for you:
- estimated blood levels and decay curves;
- calorie and macro targets;
- estimated one-rep maxes;
- strength scores;
- other calculator results.
Use them as a rough guide only. Never use them to decide on doses.
4. Blood work
The reference ranges in MyoStats are general adult ranges. Laboratories use different methods and ranges, and what is normal for you depends on your health, medication and circumstances. A result marked "in range" can still matter, and one marked "out of range" may not. Have your results interpreted by a doctor.
5. Training and nutrition
Exercise carries a risk of injury, and diet changes can affect your health. This is especially true if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or take medication. Get medical clearance where appropriate, use proper technique, and stop if something feels wrong.
6. Coaches
Coaches on MyoStats are independent. They are not employed or vetted by MyoStats. We do not check their qualifications, and we are not responsible for their advice. A coach must not prescribe or supply scheduled or controlled substances through MyoStats. Advice about medication or substances should come from a qualified healthcare professional.
7. Your decisions
You are responsible for the decisions you make and how you use the information in MyoStats. As far as the law allows, MyoStats is not liable for any harm, injury, illness or loss arising from your use of the Service, or from decisions based on it. See section 10 of our Terms of Service.
